Overview The George E. Marsh Jr. Photography Collection consists of two albums of Marsh's original photographs, dating between 1903 and 1917. Most of the images are from around Clear Creek County, presumably from summer excursions, but many are also from the east coast or the Midwest, where Marsh lived during the early 1900s.

Leopold and Samuel Sternberger Mining Papers

Overview A collection of documents relating to Leopold and Samuel Sternberger and their mining operations in the Idaho Springs and Fall River areas between 1879 and 1931. The Sternberger's originally operated mines independently, but by the turn of the 20th century ran the Pennsylvania Mining Company (renamed the Pennsylvania Mining, Power and Reduction Company in 1910).
